world changing

Over the last few months I figured out that WorldChanging was an interesting place with lots of interesting optimistic techies hanging around there. I read a few interesting articles on wireless there - all written by Jamais . So I emailed him and asked him to check out my SoccerField post.

He did:

“I heartily agree with his underlying point: the use of these networked technologies by artists and non-profit organizations can fundamentally reshape the way that citizens experience their built environments.”

(Side note: I realized tonight that I must take away a lot from conferences. Right after the toronto conference I wrote the soccer post. What I took away from london was the meta open movement and open immersive environments. And coming back from the conference in Ottawa I wrote the article on blogging to candles.)
