here
So i’m at the conference. Here’s what they’re saying about it. I had to come late because of some work I had to do, so I’m trying to catch up and find my feet. Not enough geeks here for my liking, but lots of very exciting activists (and not the eager/naive young ones, the eager seasoned vets).
Only 3 of approx 40 people knew what Asterisk was on the first day. :-(
Also - this guy Evan is here. Does anyone know who he is? I know that he’s pretty well linked in geek-geography, but I want a few urls and I don’t want to just ask him.

Evan is also known as Rabble. Coincidence I know.
He is the head developer at Odeo which is a podcasting startup that is headed by the founder of Blogger Evan Williams.

that’s why i couldn’t figure out who he was. i googled “evan+odeo” and kept on getting info on someone that didn’t sound like him.
thanks!

Evan Henshaw-Plath, anarchogeek.com, pretty heavily involved in indymedia, understood social software quite early on, would love to meet him sometime, google for more: http://www.google.ca/search?q=evan+plath&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
