also, BTW - I saw one of their employees controling them with a TV controller (IR). So they’re not only controlled centrally.

Can you tell me where the employee was when remoting a projector ? I tried to zap them with a TV-B-Gone (cycling about 100 codes in 70 seconds), but never succeeded.

The guy was just about right underneath. Maybe at a 15degree angle. He had to try a few times to get it to “do” something, but I don’t think precise positioning was really the key. They probably have thier own IR system.
