kissing the ground
I’m back. Tired, so tired, behind on some school work, and happy enough not to have a job that makes me travel. I thought I was the adventurous type, but I’m not so sure anymore.
I gave a couple presentations (one short one with Alison, and one longer demo of Wifidog to interested conference attendees - mostly BC ICT community groups) met a bunch of people doing a bunch of cool stuff with long-distance wifi and got just in time to take an exam and go to the Journee Innovation Social organized by Communautique. Daniel did an hour-long presentation and also received the prize of the day on our behalf!
I didn’t mention it here yet, but we got an office - courtesy of (and located in) Centre St. Pierre - a stone’s throw from Beaudry Metro. More news is that our server is in (financed through our partnership with MDCN, and the Dog is making it’s way in the world. Also, we reached 3000 users yesterday.
I’ve gotta earn some money and get to work on my schoolwork or else I’m going to end up like some kinda worn-out Dorian Grey painting while ISF is out there walking around like the belle of the ball.
And so, back to my paper on Marx.
