Check out Hugh’s new blog

Not bad!

He is on the board of Atwater Library and they are looking at including a focus on digital divide / OSS / helping community groups with IT. To that end Sylvain and I have had a few very interesting meetings with him.

So he already knows about wiki’s and Creative Commons, and then we tell him about delicious and flickr, and now he’s blogging with rss feeds up the wazzo, links to firefox, etc.

Crazy.

    re: atwater, we are trying to build a centre for community-based technology, focusing on access and giving the tools to parts of the community generally outside the mainstream of computers. non-profit groups, kids at risk, immigrants etc.

    focus on communication (bloggging, wiki, web etc), and on promotion of F/OSS where appropriate. we also want to build the library into a F/OSS test site, among many other things.
